HT BENDIX opens German sales office to be closer to customers
HT BENDIX A/S has opened a sales office in Bünde, Germany, the heart of German furniture and kitchen industry.
“A significant portion of our existing customer base is located within a 50-kilometer radius of Bünde,” explains Export Sales Manager Tobias Zingenberg. “Having a base here enables us to collaborate more closely with our clients and engage with them more frequently than we could from Denmark. Additionally, this office presents a great opportunity to attract new customers, especially with the inclusion of a small showroom.”
On May 1, 2024, Meik Bentrup joined the team as the first German based HT BENDIX German Area Sales Manager. As a native German speaker, he will not only manage relationships with some of our current clients but also work on expanding the company’s business and presence in the region.
“This is a significant milestone for HT BENDIX,” says Zingenberg. “It’s a key element of our planned growth strategy across different European markets. Germany is by far our largest export market.” In addition to the new office in Germany, HT BENDIX also operates a sales office in Poland and has local sales representatives in France, Romania, Spain and the UK. “This move is integral to our strategy of enhancing customer focus and providing even better service than we do today.”
Tobias Zingenberg highlights that having a local office enhances efficiency and service quality. “When discussing product development with our German stakeholders, being 5-6 hours away by car has been a challenge. While online-meetings and phone calls are helpful, they can’t fully replace the value of face-to-face interactions with clients.”
“Our goal is to make doing business with us as easy as possible. If we can simplify things for our customers, we’re on the right track.”
He adds, “We have a large warehouse, a solid logistics setup, compliance control and strong documentation capabilities that are well-aligned with German manufacturers. With this new office, we’re excited to strengthen our relationships and support the growth of the German furniture and kitchen industry.”
